Yes, it’s okay to buy original art online. Best case scenario is while you’re actually with the artist but sometimes virtual experiences have to do.
Somewhere in a book by Alice Walker one character tells another something along the lines of, “if they lied about me they have lied about everything”. I feel like the book is Possessing the Secret of Joy. The title for this piece is from that quote and it’s so, so very true.

These pieces are NOT framed
I don’t frame any of my fiber pieces. Simply pin the piece to the wall with t-pins or push pins. The pieces are all lightweight and pinning allows them to be without borders. Plus they’re easier to move around to different rooms.
Framing is an art in and of itself. Rather or not to frame a piece is an individual buyer’s choice.
